a pop-punk and emo festival in Las Vegas

This musical event, which will be held on October 30, will notably offer concerts by My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Avril Lavigne:, AFI, the Used and Bright Eyes.

This is the event not to be missed if you were a teenager in the 2000s, and you wore star sweatshirts, red skinny jeans and checkered Van’s, while fixing your famous “wick” on your forehead at ultra-fixing hairspray. Live Nation announced on Tuesday that the When We Were Young festival will be held next fall – a concentration of emo and pop-punk artists, for a good big dose of nostalgia.

Scheduled in Las Vegas on October 30, this musical event is headlined by two leading groups of the emo era: My Chemical Romance and Paramore. The rest of the line-up will delight any millennial who grew up listening to alternative rock: AFI, the Used, 3OH!3, Hawthorne Heights, the Ready Set, Anberlin, or even Bring Me the Horizon, Bright Eyes, Avril Lavigne …

This is the second edition of the When We Were Young festival: the first was held in 2017 in California, a week before the famous Coachella festival, with Morrissey, AFI and Cage the Elephant.

Tickets will go on sale from January 21.
