Actor Gaspard Ulliel died at the age of 37 after a skiing accident in Savoie

Terrible news this Wednesday January 19: actor Gaspard Ulliel, 37, died following a skiing accident on Tuesday January 18. His agent announced his death after the actor had been hospitalized in serious condition for almost 24 hours. He suffered from a head trauma which allegedly occurred following a collision with another skier on a blue run in the resort of La Rosière, in Savoie.

Discovered in 2002 by Michel Blanc in the film Kiss whoever you want, Gaspard Ulliel has acted in many French and international feature films alongside prestigious actors and actresses: Emmanuelle Béart, Marion Cotillard, Albert Dupontel, Audrey Tautou, Mélanie Laurent, Nicole Garcia, Isabelle Huppert, Gérard Depardieu, Nathalie Baye… He had toured with Gus van Sant, Bertrand Tavernier, André Téchniné or even Xavier Dolan. In 2017, Gaspard Ulliel had also received the César for best actor for his performance in the film Just the end of the world directed by the Canadian director.

Gaspard Ulliel was also known for being the face of Chanel for its Bleu perfume. Before his tragic death, he had filmed in the Marvel series Moon Knight which will be broadcast on the Disney+ platform from March 30.
