A year after the separation of the successful pop-rock group, Adé unveils a first single in his name.
Adé takes the turn of the solo career. The former singer of the group Thérapie Taxi unveils this Wednesday the clip of her first single, entitled Know everything. A pop track with a catchy melody, heralding a first album expected in September.
Cowboy boots on her feet, Adélaïde Chabannes de Balsac (her real name) wanders in the American West and dances a madison in the middle of the desert at nightfall, accompanied by a disturbing wooden cowboy in a sparkling costume. All on the catchy rhythm of a piece combining electro and pop-rock sounds, tinged with a country aesthetic. No wonder his upcoming album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, the birthplace of the genre.
Triumph in 2018
Adé had success with Thérapie Taxi in 2018 thanks to the tube Hit Dirty, a collaboration with rapper Roméo Elvis. The album that followed, which featured their other hit Slut), was certified double platinum. After a second record with more restrained success (Exquisite Corpse2019), the group announced their separation at the end of 2020. They bowed out with a final EP, titled Breakup 2 shit, Last year. Zaoui, the other face of Thérapie Taxi, also unveiled his first solo single a few days ago.
The singer had already laid the pawns of the post-Taxi Therapy: she notably worked with Benjamin Biolay last year, with whom she signed the duo Park closed.
