Metallica storms the Spotify charts
“Master of Puppets” is currently in twelfth place in the US Spotify Top 50 and 15th in the UK. Metallica’s eight-minute song is ranked 26th in the streaming service’s global top 50. In Germany, “Master of Puppets” has not yet made it into the charts.
Metallica’s bassist Robert Trujillo announced that his 17-year-old son was co-worker on the new version of the song. “That’s my boy! Proud of you Tye, »wrote the musician there.
The final two episodes of the fourth season of “Stranger Things” were released on Netflix on July 1 and immediately set new records. According to reports, at times there was such a high rush that users were temporarily unable to use Netflix.
Just a few days earlier, Kate Bush’s song “Running Up That Hill” made it back into the charts. Also after the song was played in the same Netflix series Stranger Things.
