Granada will also play at the Amadeus Awards on April 29th. The cool dialect band from Graz won the prize in the ”Alternative” category.
josh was the first winner yesterday. Now Granada can also celebrate an Amadeus Award. The cool dialect band from Graz already won the prize in the “Alternative” category. At the early AAMA Days, the chord rockers prevailed against Buntspecht, Mira Lu Kovacs, Oska and Sharktank with their current CD ”Unterbedingungen”.
In 2016 the debut album “Granada” was released with the well-known songs “Ottakring” and “Eh ok” for the film “Planet Ottakring”. In June 2018 they released their second album Ge Bitte! on the independent label Karmarama until Sony Music Austria signed the band at the end of 2020. Their third album “UnterUnterbedingungen” with the singles “Lomari”, “Blüte”, “Mei Velo” and “Summerfieber” was self-produced by the five-strong neo-Austropop formation from Graz. Due to the pandemic, they have changed their working style, all musicians have contributed song sketches and melody ideas. Granada was able to use the lockdown-free moments to present their songs live in front of an audience.
