Amber claims that Johnny sexually assaulted her during the filming of “Pirates of the Caribbean”

WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES.-The actress Amber Heard testified Thursday that her ex-husband Johnny Depp sexually assaulted her and threatened to “cut” her face with a broken bottle during a heated argument, a month after their 2015 marriage.

The “Aquaman” actress, 36, recounted multiple instances of alleged physical and sexual abuse during her second day as a witness in the defamation case brought against her by the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star.

Heard gave his version of an incident that would have occurred in March 2015 in Australia, where Depp was filming the fifth installment of “Pirates”.

Depp had testified at trial that a “furious” Heard was the aggressor in the argument and cut off the tip of one of his fingers with a bottle of vodka.

However, Heard said she confronted Depp about his drinking and he challenged her to try and take a bottle from him. “I grabbed onto her,” she said.

“I threw her on the ground” and “that really pissed him off,” she added, saying Depp threw “bottles” and “cans” at her.

“At some point he put a broken bottle in my face, in my neck area, in my jaw line and told me he was going to cut my face,” she recalled.

Her voice breaking, Heard said Depp ripped off her robe and sexually assaulted her with a bottle.

“Johnny had the bottle inside me and he was putting it in me over and over again,” he said, while repeatedly threatening to kill her.

Heard claimed he managed to escape and the next morning discovered that Depp had used blood from his finger, food and paint to write “incoherent” messages on all surfaces in the house.

– “I felt embarrassed” –

At the hearing outside Washington, Heard also accused Depp on Thursday of slapping and kicking her on a plane while drunk, after accusing her of having an affair with actor James Franco.

“I felt embarrassed,” she told the jury.

“It was the first time something like this had happened to me,” he added, on the verge of tears.

“He was mad at me for taking the job with James Franco,” Heard said, recounting the incident on the plane in May 2014.

“He hated, hated James Franco and accused me of having had a secret thing with him ever since we did ‘Superfumados’ (Pineapple Express),” he said, referring to the 2008 film in which Heard worked with Franco.

“He called me a whore,” said the actress.

Depp, 58, filed a lawsuit against Heard over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in December 2018, in which the actress described herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

Heard, who had a starring role in the movie “Aquaman,” did not name Depp in the op-ed, but the actor has sued her for implying he was an abuser and is seeking $50 million in damages.

Heard countersued, asking for $100 million and claiming she suffered “unbridled physical violence and abuse” at his hands.

– “Like a baby” –

During four days of pre-trial testimony, Depp denied physically abusing Heard and claimed that she was the one who was frequently violent.

The actress elaborated on Depp’s continued drug and alcohol use and his recurring efforts to get sober during their relationship.

He said a bodyguard once had to carry an unconscious Depp in his arms “like a baby” to his rented London house.

“I remember that I thought that everything would end here. He encouraged me to feel like we were in a new chapter, that Johnny had finally hit rock bottom,” she said.

But despite a “million promises to get clean and sober,” couples therapy and rehabilitation efforts, Depp always returned to drinking and using marijuana and cocaine.

Depp’s lawyers brought experts to the stand who testified that the actor has lost millions due to the abuse allegations, including $22.5 million for the sixth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.

Depp filed the lawsuit against Heard in the United States after losing another libel case in London in November 2020, which he brought against the British tabloid The Sun for calling him a “wife beater.”

Depp, a three-time Oscar nominee, and Heard met in 2009 on the set of the film “The Rum Diary” and married in February 2015. Their divorce was finalized two years later.
