Efrain Aguilar He was one of the master minds behind the resounding success that “Al fondo hay sitio” had on Peruvian TV, which allowed him to be on the air for eight years. After the announcement of the return of the series with new stories and characters, a controversy arose, because according to the point of view of the theater director, that production must have “remained as a great memory.” He also mentioned that he did not like the way he was called up for the ninth season.
Now, the Peruvian series is in the hands of Gigio Aranda, of whom he has a good concept, but does not share the idea of continuing to extend production. About the end of the eighth season, the also prominent producer and teacher mentioned that he was “forced”, but had a “beautiful” and “emotional” reception by the fans.

Efraín Aguilar first revealed the reasons that prompted him to end the series “Al fondo hay sitio”. “They were business issues. We were in a rented space and the owner was going to sell it, so we had to go somewhere else. We were already eight years old, who guaranteed us that success would be the same? It was difficult, ”he revealed to Infobae.
Then, he explained how he felt when he found out that they had picked up the ninth season. “Gigio Aranda presented a project in which I was not. They did the second part in which, tangentially, they told me that I could be there”he commented at the beginning.
“I said no, I didn’t want to. Not because I felt uncomfortable, or anything. What’s more, if they had asked me in another way, I would have accepted it, but not in the way they did, as a ‘drop’. There it was,” Aguilar said.

The also creator of “Taxista, rara”, “Mil oficios” and “Así es la vida”, believes that the characters in the series did not evolve as expected. “I would have looked for the creativity of new characters, to make them have the age and problems of the age that someone has after eight years,” said Efraín Aguilar.
Despite this, he stressed that he does not criticize Gigio Aranda, since he is aware of the great burden he currently handles. “I reiterate that he is an export scriptwriter (…) I would have liked the actors to have guidance on how to evolve a character (…) Some actors have that intention, to want to be funny. I have never liked that ”, he concluded.
