The movie Pinocchio Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, continues adding nominees in awards season, this time at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), where it will compete in the categories of Best Animation, Best Soundtrack and Best Production Design.
The feature film, which recently triumphed at the Golden Globes and the Critic’s Choice Awards, is nominated with Marcel The Shell With Shoes On, from Dean Fleisher Camp; Puss in Boots: The Last Wish by Joel Crawford and Red by Domee Shi.

The South American film Argentina 1985 also represents Latin America, in the list of Best Foreign Language Filmwhere he will face The decision to leave, Corsage, The quiet girl and No news at the front.
The latter brought together 14 applicationsincluding Best Picture, Best Director (Edward Berger), Best Supporting Actor (Albrecht Schuch), Best Adapted Screenplaythus becoming the film with the highest number of nominations in BAFTA history.
The other two most nominated films of this edition are The spirits of the island and Everything everywhere at the same time both with ten applications.
The 76th edition of the BAFTAs It will be held on Sunday, February 19, at the Southbank Center artistic complex, at 7:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. in Mexico City). In Latin America you can follow the award through their official social networks.
