In January 2023, the actress Jana Pallaske will go to Australia, where she will compete against eleven other candidates in the jungle camp. In order to underline her character and her nature, she has now given herself a new name for the TV show.
Jana Pallaske changes name before jungle camp
According to what she told RTL, she could have a good chance of asserting herself against candidates such as Jolina Mennen, Claudia Effenberg or Gigi Birofio. Many of them already have TV experience, but they have a close connection to the jungle, as they themselves emphasized:
“I come from the jungle, for the jungle, with all my love and primal power.”
Her new name is therefore no longer Pallaske, but Jana Urkraft. The broadcaster has also called them that since then, whether only for the upcoming jungle camp or for all eternity, but it remains unclear.

However, the new stage name seems to fit, as the actress describes herself as a shaman. For 15 years she has been traveling to Thailand again and again, mostly with a one-way ticket. As a result, she is not herself, but the jungle “the true queen” that she wants to return her crown to.
New name has serious origins
However, the new name also seems linked to a negative event from 2022. So she reported in tears of an incident in which she fought for her life. Today, however, she no longer sees the formative event as a burden, but rather as a gift, which “allowed her to feel the elemental force so clearly and deeply”.
The jungle camp candidate is now also called Jana Urkraft on Instagram. There, various fans of the show reacted to their participation and were sometimes divided. Many users announced that they were looking forward to their spirituality, while others were more likely to shoot at them.
Although Helene Fischer celebrated her big stage comeback this year and a big tour has been announced for 2023 – the traditional “Helene Fischer Show” on Christmas Day is completely canceled on ZDF for the second time in a row, after 2020 due to Corona, only a compilation of the best moments could be seen.
