Around 4:30 in the afternoon this Sunday, in the city of Barrancabermeja, friends, followers and Relatives of the accordion player Víctor Rey Reyes gave him the last “goodbye”.
In the middle of a formal ceremony in which various acts were held to pay tribute to himamong these, a minute of applause from those who admired his work, people expressed their condolences on the sensitive death of the also arranger and producer.

“For Barrancabermeja, Víctor leaves us his legacy and it is this legacy that we see here in so many child accordion players who will undoubtedly continue with this work, with this message and with this work that he [Víctor] Despite his difficulties, he never gave up and left aside”, expressed the Fundación Festival Vallenato del Magdalena Medio of whose festival he was king and King of Kings.
In the Los Olivos cemetery of that same city, religious services were held and later the cremation of the artist’s body.
About his professional career
Víctor had a long career as an accordion player, he recorded with Los Gigantes del VAllenato and Miguel Morales, also worked alongside Jesús Manuel and Jorge Luis Ortiz.
