Bogotá: concerts confirmed for 2023

As in 2022, some time after easing restrictions for COVID-19the year 2023 will also be a time full of concerts and cultural activities. Bands and artists have already confirmed dates and places for their ‘shows’ in Colombia.

With different genres ranging from metal, through reggaeton and reaching K-pop, 2023 will be the year for all kinds of music lovers.

The following list contains the most relevant artists and bands that will come to Bogotá during 2023:

  • NCT 127: The South Korean K-pop band will perform at the Movistar Arena on January 25 as part of their “Neo City – The Link” tour.
  • Opeth: The Swedish death metal and progressive metal band will be at the Royal Plaza theater on February 16, promising a strong night full of folk and metal influences.
  • sound depression: Marcos Crespo, a Spanish artist, will come to the country with his postpunk project. He will give a concert on Thursday, February 23, at the Boogaloop Club. Followers expect him to sing: You don’t have to save me, I see so deep Y virtual apocalypse, songs that talk about depression, love, disappointment and human feelings.

  • “Rough”: Giacomo Puccini’s opera will be presented on February 24. With three acts and its Italian libretto by Luigi Illica, this opera will be presented at the Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theater
  • Motley Crue and Def Leppard: The glam metal will arrive in the country’s capital as part of its World Tour. They will be presented on February 25 at the Simón Bolívar park in Bogotá. These two legendary bands will make Bogotanos sing all the metal of the 80s and 90s.
  • Big Time Rush: The famous boy band of pop, known for her television show on Nickelodeon will have her concert at Chamorro City Hall on February 28.
  • Joaquin Sabina: Iberian singer-songwriter and painter will be presented on March 1 at the Movistar Arena. The artist promises a night full of poetry and great stories.
  • Miguel Mateos: The Argentine rock singer-songwriter will have his presentation on March 4 at the Movistar Arena. He will not be alone, as there will be Vilma Palma E Vampiros y Compañía Unlimited.
  • Deafheaven: The American post-metal band will arrive in Colombia on March 5 at Herbívoro Cocina Vegana.
  • Lauren Jauregui: The American R&B singer-songwriter will be in the capital on March 8 at the Royal Center.
  • ‘Festival to Enjoy and Sing’: Los Tigres del Norte, Los Rayos De México, Jhonny Rivera, Alzate, Jhon Alex Castaño, Paola Jara, Francy, among others, will be at the El Campín Stadium on March 11.

  • Imagine Dragons: From Las Vegas, United States, the band will perform at the Coliseo Live on March 12 as part of their Mercury World Tour.

  • Romeo Santos: On March 7 you can see the king of bachata at the Movistar Arena.
  • Dove Saint Basil: The Spanish singer will be at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo on March 23. She will then go to Medellín, where she will be on the 25th at the Theater of the University of Medellín.
  • Paul Anka: the Canadian actor and singer-songwriter will perform at the Movistar Arena on March 23.
  • Natalia Jimenez: Friday March 24 will be the date the singer-songwriter will be on stage at the Movistar Arena.

  • Alexander Fernandez: The Mexican artist will be at the Movistar Arena on Friday, March 17.
  • Vincent: Sunday March 19 will be the date on which the Argentine composer arrives at the Movistar Arena.
  • Stereo Picnic Festival 2023: Bands and musical artists such as Blink-182, Tame Impala, The 1975, Melanie Martínez, Drake, Rosalía, Jerry Rivera, Aurora, The Chemical Brothers, Wu-Tang Clan, Bizarrap, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X will perform at the Estéreo Picnic , Morat, Kali Uchis, among many others. From March 23 to Sunday March 26. It will be its first four-day edition and it will take place at the Briceño 18 golf course.
  • Alejandro Sanz: The renowned Spanish composer will be on Thursday, April 13 at the Coliseo Live.

  • Men G: Celebrating their fortieth anniversary, the Spanish rock en español musical ensemble will be at the Movistar Arena on April 15.
  • ‘Monsters of Rock’: This event will bring together legendary bands like Kiss, Scorpions, Helloween, Deep Purple and Saxon. It will be its first edition and it will take place on April 15.
  • Bogota Metal Fest: It will have the participation of artists such as Stratovarius, Accept and Grave Digger and will take place on Wednesday, April 19.
  • Santiago Cruz: The pop singer-songwriter will be at the Movistar Arena on April 21 as part of his “After the Storm” tour.

  • Apocalyptic: This symphonic metal band from Finland will perform at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theater on Saturday, April 22.
  • velvety: As a national quota, the rock duo will perform at the Palacio de los Deportes on April 22.
  • fonseca: This renowned pop singer-songwriter will have his concert on May 13 at the Movistar Arena.
  • Kany Garcia: The next day and on the same stage as Fonseca, the Puerto Rican singer will leave her mark in the country’s capital.
