Boris Becker distances himself from his wife Lilly

“The person who has been in complex divorce proceedings with my client for years and who, until recently, had no serious contact with the Becker family. A little restraint would be appropriate here,” said the lawyer. Boris and Lilly Becker married in 2009 and separated in 2018. The couple have their son Amadeus (12).

Lilly Becker had sharply criticized the verdict against the tennis idol to two and a half years in prison for bankruptcy crimes. She also announced that she, Becker’s ex-wife Barbara and his current partner Lillian de Carvalho Monteiro would stick together. Lawyer Moser said: “My client’s new girlfriend is old enough to speak for herself when it’s appropriate. She doesn’t need Lilly Becker for that.”
