Caloncho and Cursi presented their book of illustrations “Optimista” at Fenal

León, Guanajuato.- Dozens of leonese fans were present to discover live the story behind one of the most famous songs of this important singer-songwriter known as “Caloncho”, that in recent years has managed to position itself as one of the benchmarks of its genre, where it mixes musical trends such as pop, reggae and a tropical touch.

Oscar Alfonso Castrobetter known as “Caloncho” revealed to the attendees that the song that gives title to his book, was initially a joke that was titled “A Happy Vato”however, the composition was taking on depth, seriousness and meaning until today it practically becomes a must-have piece in the presentations of the sonorense.

“Caloncho” presents a book at the FENAL.

Accompanied by Mexican illustrator Dayan Martín Camacho, “El Cursi”were developing some of the verses that through the illustrations of the visual artist were captured in scenes that today give life to the book, whose creation began in 2019.
