Canelo Álvarez is not intimidated and goes for Golovkin’s defeat

On September 17, Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez and Gennady Golovkin will get into the ring for the third time to fight for the title of absolute super middleweight champion, which has the fans quite excited, for which the Mexican boxer assured that will seek to end the conflict before round 12 via knockout.

During an interview for EFE, the boxer from Guadalajara was honest about his next fight with the Kazakh fighter and confessed that he is not going to be intimidated and is going for the defeat of his opponent, which has him very excited and hungry for victory.

“I am more dangerous at the moment, I am training 100 percent, enthusiastic, hungry for victory. My goal is to finish by knockout, I want to win before 12 rounds and hopefully I will be given the opportunity”, commented the 31-year-old boxer.

Likewise, Canelo added that he is aware that he is going to face the best version of the Olympic athlete, so he is training non-stopsince he wants to be prepared for whatever comes, especially after Golovkin’s strong statements, in which he branded the Mexican as insecure.

“I like to respect rivals; but if they respect me, if not. I am bothered by so many things that she spoke and continues to speak when he is not in front of me. I prepare for the best Golovkin; he is a smart fighter that hits hard and hard to connect, but I know it; I know what I have to do and we are going to get there well”, explained the absolute champion of super middleweight.

On the other hand, the boxer from Jalisco revealed that he is leading a fairly healthy lifestyle, and talked about some of the exercises he is currently doing to be in your best physical condition when he has to fight Gennady, noting that he’s doing 10k runs three times a week along with a stationary bike job when he’s not running.

“The only one that I want to be one of the best and that is bought with work”, commented the boxer from Guadalajara. And he added: “I eat healthy, although a taquito or a drowned cake is not lacking when I go to Guadalajara. That’s where I give my tastes.”
