show description

There are treasures that no inveterate person forgets “Bares for Rares”-Fan! It is not uncommon for really valuable items to be presented here and there in the ZDF junk show. But what the mother-daughter team Cosima Birk and Stephanie Huber had with them some time ago is beyond even “Cash for Rares“Relationships again everything.

The candidates even go down in the history of the ZDF program. Because for so much money no item has ever gone over the table before…

“Bares for Rares”: the candidate has a diamond cross – so she goes down in ZDF history

What it is about? Around a pontifical pectoral cross featured on the show in May 2019. An heirloom set with Mazarin cut diamonds. The noble piece is now shown again on the Instagram channel of the junk show.

According to “Bares for Rares” expert Heide Rezepa-Zabel, it consists of around 40 carats, even contains splinters from the cross of Jesus and on the back heraldic and papal elements. The expertise of the ZDF expert was then: 60,000 to 80,000 euros!

“The cross of Jesus is still considered a world sensation today!” It says on Instagram. The cross was ultimately sold for 42,000 euros – a sum that is well below the expertise, but is still the most expensive sale at “Bares for Rares” that has ever been there.
