Claudia Michelsen is one of the country’s best-known actresses thanks to her role in “Polizeiruf 110”. In the ARD crime series she has been the inspector Doreen Brasch since 2013. But now the next shoot is said to be on the brink. The reason: Michelsen had an accident.
Michelsen’s press agent Katy Steinfeld says on “Bild” request: “I can confirm that there was an accident and that she injured her cervical vertebra. Lucky in misfortune, she is doing well so far! We firmly believe that she can go back to work in March.”
Production “postponed indefinitely”?
The 53-year-old should apparently appear again in three weeks for filming in Magdeburg, the newspaper writes. Now that the leading actress Michelsen is out, the MDR production has “postponed the work indefinitely”. The ARD station has so far left a request from t-online unanswered.
At the end of September 2022, the broadcaster wrote: “The shooting for the new MDR ‘Police Call 110’ from Magdeburg is currently underway: ‘You belong to me'”. It is the 18th case for Claudia Michelsen as Chief Inspector Doreen Brasch. How things will continue now remains to be seen. The next “police call” comes from the RBB. “The God of Bankruptcy” with André Kaczmarczyk will be shown on February 5 in the first.
Where, when and how exactly the actress was involved in the accident is not yet known. In addition to the “police call”, Michelsen is also known for many other prominent roles. Between 2016 and 2021 she celebrated success with the ZDF series “Ku’damm 56”, “Ku’damm 59” and “Ku’damm 63”, in which she played the director of the dance school, Caterina Schöllack.
