On the occasion of the release of his book Assemblies released on June 8 by Grasset editions, Clémentine Autain, in the running in the 11th district of Seine-Saint-Denis this Sunday, June 19, delivered a few rare secrets about her private life.
To live happy, live hidden. An adage that Clémentine Autain, the regional councilor for Île-de-France, is used to cultivating. Once is not custom, she agreed to discuss her personal lifeindulging in particular some indiscretions about his love life, on the occasion of the release of his novel entitled Assemblieson June 8th.
Separated from the father of her two children, she explained living a harmonious recomposition for 10 years with the one she calls her “husband”. The latter, a professor in Seine-Saint-Denis, is an activist of La France insoumise. A man who seems to correspond to the vision of the “ideal” man that she felt she shared with Sandrine Rousseau, a member of EELV. She “I am right, the deconstruction of men is a real subject. They must question their virility, because they too are alienated. They were taught not to cry, to desire power, to use their strength… It’s a confinement in a predefined role”, she still confided to our colleagues from Closer. Happy in love, Clémentine Autain is also happy in politics. Indeed, the candidate of Nupes, will be alone in the running in the second round of the legislative elections, this Sunday, June 19, after the withdrawal of Virginie de Carvalho (DVG) even before the holding of the ballot. All it will take is a single vote to win with 100% of the votes cast.
Reality does not meet fiction
If in his work Assemblies, released on June 8, one of her heroines falls in love with a right-wing politician when she is on the left, by her own admission, this “never happened to him”. This does not mean, however, that she refrains from considering a relationship with a man with opposing political ideas since, as she explains: “NWe don’t have to live only long love stories…” What is certain is that the relationship that unites Clémentine Autain seems set to last. The two lovers have been living together for ten years now.
