Colombia receives for the first time a wax figure from the Madame Tussauds Museum

From this Tuesday, April 26, to Friday, April 29, the wax statue of the urban music singer, Maluma, will be available to Medellin residents and tourists. This after the work that pays tribute to the Colombian artist in the world arrived in the country, and directly in the capital of Antioquia.

The Maluma 2.0, as the sculpture that is part of the Madame Tussauds Museum in Orlando was named, but during this week the wax statue of this organization that moved to the fifth floor of the Museum of Modern Art in Medellínwhere you can freely access to see, among other artistic works, the “identical” copy, but in wax, of the Paisa singer who is representing the country with his music worldwide.

It is worth remembering that this would be the first time that one of the sculptures of the renowned museum is exhibited in South America, so it is an opportunity not to be missed for anyone who has the possibility. In addition, if until Friday some people have not been able to appreciate it, it will also be exhibited in the Atanasio Girardot State, where Maluma is preparing a concert to accompany the show of medal on the map.

The news was shared by the singer on his social networks, in which he celebrated the fact that this sculpture came to contribute to Colombian culture. “Baby today we are 2 x 1 😂 — First time in the history of the @madametussaudsusa museum that they bring a figure to South America specifically to COLOMBI A. Maluma’s personal stylist would have been the one who worked with the sculptors in making the costumes that use the artist’s wax figure, So then, a jacket designed by Versace was chosen, the same one that has been sponsoring the singer for some years. Meanwhile, the shoes would be a design by the Italian fashion house, Bottega Veneta.

“The work that the entire Madame Tussauds team has created is unreal. The figure is a true replica of me and I feel honored that they bring a piece of me to my fans before my concert”, were the words of the paisa artist about the exhibition, stating that he was happy with the results of his wax sculpture .
