On May 6, the coronation of King Charles III will take place, eight months after the Queen’s death.
It is an event that is awaited worldwide with impatience and curiosity. On May 6, the coronation of King Charles III will take place. Festivities that will span three full days and are beginning to unfold. We thus discovered this weekend that the king would wear a less traditional attire than at previous coronationsin order to modernize the ceremony a little and make it more in tune with our times.

The coronation program
This January 21, Buckingham Palace began to reveal the organization of these three days under the sign of the coronation of Charles III. It will all begin on the morning of May 6 at Westminster Abbey. The Archbishop of Canterbury will conduct the coronation ceremony. During this great ceremony, the wife of the King Charles III, Camilla, will also be crowned. To end the day, the whole royal family will meet on the balcony of Buckingham to greet the crowd, which will probably be very numerous to want to experience this event. The day after this historic day will take place a great concert at Windsor Castle. This concert will be broadcast on television by the BBC and should bring together several music stars. Several meals will also be organized everywhere so that people can get together.
As for Monday, May 8, it will be placed under the sign of volunteering. Public holiday, this day will be an opportunity for the British to turn to volunteering in order to carry out a good deed.
