- Jason Momoa is currently in Rome for work.
- On Instagram he shows how he uses the breaks in filming.
- With that, he enraged his fans.
The shooting of the final, tenth part of the action film series “The Fast and the Furious” is in full swing. Jason Momoa is currently in Rome for this. The actor uses his free time for sightseeing. He lets his followers participate via Instagram. The latest post shows him in the Sistine Chapel. In a good mood, he poses in front of paintings by artists such as Botticelli or Michelangelo. A video also shows him touching a relief.
There is heavy criticism for the recordings under the post. The reason: Taking photos and touching the works of art is strictly forbidden. “So disrespectful,” says one user. “We are not allowed to take pictures, but of course celebrities are allowed. Nothing against Jason (I adore him), but that’s not fair,” says another.
Did Jason Momoa break the rules?
In fact, photography is prohibited inside the Sistine Chapel. Jason Momoa, on the other hand, did not break the rules by touching the relief. If you watch the whole video, you can see that it is just a replica of a painting. This should also enable people with visual impairments to experience the works. The exhibits are therefore explicitly there to be touched. So the excitement is only partially justified.
This is how the “Fast and Furious” finale will be
What “Fast & Furious 10” is about is not yet officially known. One thing is certain: the finale comes in two parts, which are thematically related and are filmed directly one after the other. Universal Pictures has set its sights on spring 2023 as the start date for the first part. The film is scheduled to start in German cinemas on May 18th. No date has yet been set for the second part.
Louis Leterrier is set to direct after Justin Lin dropped out. In addition to the newcomers in front of and behind the camera, well-known “Fast & Furious” actors such as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez or Chris “Ludacris” Bridges should also be part of the party again.
