The figure skatergot his nomination after the ISU conducted a poll and took the vote by 72.8 percent, beating out the Japanese yuzuru hanyuwhich only got 20.5 percent.

This international event which recognizes the best of figure skating, It will be taking place on February 5th.and they will be broadcast live through the digital platform YouTube, the day on which it will be known if the Mexican obtained the majority of votes.
