Fernando del Solar, actor and presenter in Mexico, died at the age of 49

Today the sad news of the death of Fernando del Solar, the renowned Mexican actor and presenter, born in Argentina, was known. Relatives have not yet told the details of his death, but it is known that since 2012 he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a disease that attacks the lymphatic system.

Fernando del Solar was recognized for being the presenter of the popular entertainment programs Venga la Alegría’, from the TV Azteca channel, and from ‘Hoy’, from Televisa.

In the middle of the broadcast of ‘Venga la Alegría’, presenter Sergio Sepúlveda made the news of del Solar’s death public: “A close source, very close, has told us that unfortunately Fernando del Solar has passed away. There are plenty of affectionate adjectives to talk about Fernando, but you who are his family and who built ‘Venga la Alegría’ have to know it”.

Two weeks ago we had heard from Fernando del Solar because he shared the sad news of his old man’s death on his social networks: “I feel very sad and I still can’t believe that I won’t see my old man anymore..Neither eat a roast, nor laugh at his jokes… Today I am going to smile because it happened, because it was him and because of everything we lived together. It’s only been hours and I already miss you. I keep everything I learned, with his successes, but more of his mistakes.”
