A gigantic deal is emerging in the music world: the rights to the complete works of the British rock band Pink Floyd could change hands for around half a billion dollars. According to information from the “Financial Times”, Warner Music and the German music label BMG are interested in buying the Pink Floyd licenses.
Accordingly, the sale could reach a value of over 500 million dollars – and possibly even exceed the previous record sum of 550 million dollars that Sony Music paid last year, according to US media, for the complete works of US singer Bruce Springsteen.
