Fort Boyard without the tigers: what future for the emblematic Félindra? Alexia-Laroche Joubert responds

It’s official, the Fort Boyard tigers will no longer roar on France 2 this summer. But then, what future for the emblematic Félindra? Alexia-Laroche Joubert answered the question, via her Twitter account, this Tuesday, May 17.

Remember. Last February, the production company, ALP, which produces Fort Boyard decided to remove the presence of tigers from the show France 2. A blow for the show which is celebrating its 33rd season this year. evoking a “mentalities evolution” on the “animal wellbeing”, the company therefore took the decision to no longer call upon the iconic felines of the animated game by Olivier Minne. However, according to information from TV Magazine dated May 13, the production would have decided to do not totally erase the animals from the Fort. “We are working on different solutions, we are doing several tests, we have not yet decided what exactly we will do on the show”explained Guillaume Ramain, artistic producer of Fort Boyard, in the columns of TV Magazine. In reality, the tigers could return in the form of“reworked archive images or synthetic images”. For the moment, the decision has not been made… It also remains to be seen what will become of Félindra, the tiger tamer… Alexia Laroche-Joubert replied on social networks.

What future for Félindra in Fort Boyard?

Currently filming, the 33ᵉ season of Fort Boyard will hold its share of surprises. Even if they will no longer be physically present, the tigers of the flagship show of France 2 will still be represented in the treasure room “through four statues”specify our colleagues from West France. As for Felindra, the animal tamer from the show France 2, it will not disappear from the game, quite the contrary. Indeed, the latter will continue to turn the head of a tiger and validate the code word of the candidates. “The spirit of the tiger will always be with us. It is and will remain the symbol of the show”assured Guillaume Ramain toTV Magazine. A news confirmed this Tuesday, May 17 by Alexia Laroche-Joubert, the general manager of ALP.

The producer tweeted this: “The tigers are having a well-deserved retirement but Félindra will always be with us for everyone’s pleasure”, she wrote. To illustrate his words, the former director of Star Academy shared a picture with Monique Angeon, alias Félindra, her hand resting on a tiger statuette. You guessed it, Félindra will continue to turn heads…of tigers this summer! Relief.
