For the preview of the film “En Corps” this Wednesday, a few personalities gathered at the UGC Normandie in Paris. Among them, the journalist Nelson Monfort and his wife Dominique, the actress Claire Nebout and her daughter Alice Taddeï or the producer Corinne Touzet. But it was Cédric Klapisch, François Civil, Muriel Robin and Marion Barbeau who caught the eye. And for good reason, all are on the poster for this new feature film directed by Cédric Klapisch. And Marion Barbeau will be the heroine of this film.
The 60-year-old screenwriter will therefore be back this month with his fourteenth film as a director. And for that, he has brought together a large cast including his flagship actor of the moment, François Civil. In “En Corps”, he tackles a subject that has fascinated him for years, dance. When a 26-year-old classical dancer, Elise, is injured during a show and learns that she will no longer be able to dance, her life changes. Between Paris and Brittany, according to encounters and experiences, Elise will get closer to a contemporary dance company.
Cédric Klapisch has very often devoted his projects to this sport. In 2010, he devoted a documentary to the prima ballerina, Aurélie Dupont. Without forgetting “God thank you”, a video made with the dancers of the Ballet of the National Opera of Paris during confinement.
This feature film is to be found in dark rooms on March 30.
