Gloria Trevi speaks out on new allegations of corruption of minors

He does not finish getting up and a new blow comes to him. The mexican singer Gloria Trevi returns to face the monsters of his past, with the appearance of new denunciations for alleged abuse and exploitation of two minors, happened in the 1990s in Los Angeles (USA).

The American magazine Rolling Stone published at the beginning of the week that a Los Angeles court received a complaint against Gloria Trevi and her then representative Sergio Andrade, for allegedly recruiting two teenagers for a sexual abuse ring.

“It is clear that these are the two main defendants based on the details, including the concerts that took place in 1990 and the albums he recorded,” the publication describes, as it clarifies that the document does not explicitly bear Trevi’s or Andrade’s name.

The article describes that the two plaintiffs, whose names were not identified, had 13 and 15 years old when they went to a Trevi concert, where the singer approached them to offer to join Andrade’s musical training. However, the women assure that she, in this way, manipulated them to turn them into their “sex slaves”.

The interpreter of Loose Hair spoke this Friday on her social networks, denying all the accusations and clarifying that she was acquitted of all previous similar demands.

“My words go out to everyone who is reading this and hearing things about me without knowing the background of the situation, or the true story. Being a victim of physical and sexual abuse is one of the worst things that can happen to a human being, I say it and I know it as a survivor; My feelings go out to anyone who has been the victim of any type of abuse, but I will not remain silent while I am unfairly accused of crimes I did not commit,” the artist’s statement begins.

“It is very painful for me and for my whole family to see rsurface false accusations made against me more than 25 years ago and that they have already been tried in several courts and in all instances I have been completely acquitted. They were false accusations then and they continue to be false accusations now, and a court in Mexico meticulously examined all the evidence during a process of almost five years and resolved in my favor because I have the truth on my side,” she says of the case that kept her in prison from 2000 to 2004.

In this regard, she states that she continues to seek justice for having been unjustly accused and imprisoned and will continue to defend her innocence.

“For that reason I am the one who has had a lawsuit in the United States for many years to take my defamators to court, I ask you to look beyond the absurd and tabloid headlines and wait to know the true facts, I will continue working and defending myself until I obtain justice in this case,” he concludes.
