A new mystery series with a top-class cast is in the works for the Apple TV+ streaming service. Not only Hollywood star Jennifer Garner will appear in “The Last Thing He Told Me”. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who is particularly well known from the fantasy hit “Game of Thrones”, should also play as reported by the industry magazine “Variety”..

Based on Laura Dave’s novel of the same name, The Last Thing He Told Me follows a woman who sets out to solve the mysterious disappearance of her husband and forms an unexpected relationship with her stepdaughter in the process.
Garner and Coster-Waldau play these roles
The main roles of the couple Hannah and Owen are said to be held by Garner and Coster-Waldau. Young Australian actress Angourie Rice plays Hannah’s 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey.

Garner will also serve as an executive producer in addition to her starring role. Here she also gets support from Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter. The adaptation is penned by Laura Dave, who also joins the executive producer roster with her husband Josh Singer. Directed by Olivia Newman.
