Guillermo del Toro triumphs at the Hollywood International Film Festival in Capri – El Sol de México

The film pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro was awarded as Best Animation and Best Original Music (for Alexandre Desplat) in Capri, within the Hollywood International Film Festival. This was reported by the director on his Twitter account, with a post in which he shared a note from the site The Hollywood Reporter.

His fans filled him with congratulations, and even advised him to prepare for the Oscar, since he is currently on the shortlist for Best Original Song, for bye dadand in the category of Best Sound.

Since its premiere in Netflixon December 9, the tape has added more than 40 million hours of playback, according to data from the platform.

Another recognized Mexican in the festival was Alejandro González Iñárritu, who was awarded the Capri Visionary Award for Bardhis last filmalso available in Netflix.
