HBO Max prepares animated production on an Aztec Batman – Nueva Mujer

According to reports from dead line, hbo max would be working on an animated film titled Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires for its streaming platform and in which the Dark Knight will be reinterpreted, bringing the world of legends and great gods in ancient Mexico.

According to the information, Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires will be a production in Spanish by Anima Studioswhich is a Mexican animation company founded in Mexico City in 2002 and is known for works such as Las Leyendas: El Origen, Magos y Gigantes, El Chavo del 8, El Agent 00-P2, AAA without a time limit, Kung Fu Magoo, Don Gato and his gang (2011), The Legend of La Llorona, El Santos contra la Tetona Mendoza, The Legend of the Mummies of Guanajuato, The Legend of the Chupacabra, The Legend of the Charro Negro, The League of 5 and Ana and Bruno.

The information details the film synopsis: “In the time of the Aztec Empire, Yohualli Coatl, a young Aztec, experiences a tragedy when his father and village leader, Toltecatzin, is assassinated by the Spanish conquistadors. Yohualli escapes to Tenochtitlán to warn Emperor Moctezuma and his high priest, Yoka, of the impending danger. Using the temple of Tzinacan, the bat god, as a lair, Yohualli trains with his mentor and assistant, Acatzin, developing equipment and weaponry to face the Spanish invasion, protect Moctezuma’s temple, and avenge the death of his father. ”

Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires It will be directed by Juan Meza León and will be produced entirely by Mexican artists. Additionally, Alejandro Díaz Barriga, PhD in Mesoamerican Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and BA in Ethnohistory from the National School of Anthropology and History, will join the film’s creative team as a consultant to provide a proper portrayal of ancient Mexico.
