In front of around 11,000 Schlager fans, Helene Fischer made her brilliant stage comeback in the Swiss winter sports resort of Grindelwald early on Sunday afternoon. The show started shortly after 2:00 p.m. in bright sunshine, and the show itself lasted about two hours.
“It’s so nice to be with you! This is our day today,” said the 37-year-old at the beginning of her show, as reported by bild.de. The interpreter of “Breathless through the night” was not only convincing musically, but also made several political statements in the course of her concert: Her outfit was adorned with a small bow in the colors of Ukraine, and the stage itself was illuminated in blue and yellow to match.

“I thought for a long time whether I should perform at all during this difficult time,” Helene Fischer told her audience with a serious expression. By women who have to flee.”
In particular, the birth of her first child seems to have stirred things up again in the pop singer: “Of course – in my acute situation it takes me even more. I’m incredibly emotionally straight, built very close to the water.” The musician, who spoke about the Ukraine war for the first time this afternoon, was rewarded with long applause for her expression of solidarity. Despite the serious topic, the fun of the hit show was not neglected, both the 37-year-old and her audience were able to switch off at least a little while ago. The singer will have her next live performance on August 20, 2022 at the Munich exhibition center.
