House of The Dragon: The Official Game of Thrones Prequel Trailer Has Been Revealed and It’s Epic

HBO recently announced the air date of House of the Dragonthe prequel series of Game Of Thrones. A date that is fast approaching since the first episodes will be available on OCS from August 22, 2022 at 3 a.m. in France. The plot will take place 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones, the series inspired by the books of George RR Martin which kept its audience spellbound between 2011 and 2019 despite a final season considered disappointing by fans and critics. As the release of House of the Dragonthe suspense is at its height and a second trailer was unveiled this Thursday, May 5 by HBO Max.

According to the synopsis, House of the Dragon will depict the genesis of the Targaryen dynasty and will focus particularly on the fate of Prince Daemon. This character will be portrayed by Matt Smith (Doctor Who). The cast will also bring together Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel), Emma D’Arcy (Hana), Paddy Considine (Hot Fuzz) and Rhys Ifans (Good Morning England). The new trailer shows these characters in action, including Prince Daemon Targaryen and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the king’s eldest daughter and heroine of the saga. The final scene shows a dragon with the following line in the background: “History does not remember blood. She remembers names.” The promise of an epic series full of twists and turns.
