Maite Perroni is one of the most important actresses in Mexico with a professional career that has only gone up. In 2010, when she was just 27 years old, she starred in the hit “Triunfo del Amor”, a Mexican telenovela produced by Salvador Mejía for Televisa that grew out of the adaptation of the 1985 Venezuelan telenovela Cristal.
This production also starred Victoria Ruffo, William Levy, Osvaldo Ríos and Diego Oliver. On this occasion, Perroni also shared credits with Daniela Romo, Dominika Paleta and Guillermo García Cantú, who obtained antagonistic roles.
The telenovela was not only successful in audience that year but also received nominations and even won awards. For example, Daniela Romo won a 2012 Tv y Novelas award for Best Antagonistic Actress. And of course, Maite Perroni, also had a prominent role when it comes to awards.
The former RBD won the 2011 Califa de Oro Awards for Best Performance of the Year; while she also won an award at the Premios Juventud that same year; where the novel had three nominations.
