Opinions

Glenda Estrada, editor-in-chief of EL HERALDO. “The ‘Rafael Heliodoro Valle’ Unpublished Short Stories Contest is a contribution of EL HERALDO newspaper to culture and national identity. It is a showcase for new authors who are looking for spaces to explore their imagination and share their ideas. We invite you to participate and challenge yourself with stories that will undoubtedly impact audiences and elevate creativity and our constant search to make this a better Honduras to another level.”

Samai Torres, editor of Vida. “It is a great opportunity to probe who could, in a few years, surprise us with stories in book format. As a medium we are proud to support those first steps of those who debut in a contest and are encouraged to make their stories known for the first time. Equally important is to continue being a reliable space for those who already have more experience and whose contributions strengthen our initiatives”.
