On the set of DailyThursday, May 5, Omar Sy revealed that he had “seriously injured” on the set of Far from the Periph, available on Netflix from Friday, May 6. “I almost lost a finger”he assured.

After the series Lupine – whose third season is in preparation after the broadcast of the second -, he returns to Netflix with far from the ring roadmovie sequel the other side of the ring-road, released ten years ago. The detective film in which Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte reprise their roles as Ousmane Diakité and François Monge will be available on the streaming platform from Friday May 6. And, on the eve of the broadcast, the two actors were invited to the set of Dailywhere they claimed they had no no stunt doubles for action scenes (well almost). Laurent Lafitte explained that he simply did not need an understudy. What cause the laughter of Omar Sy. “I have stand-ins for comedy scenes, because I don’t act very well. All acting is this gentleman, all stunt is me”joked Laurent Lafitte, before answering more seriously: “I had to have a few stunt doubles… But you break the magic.” Omar Sy then clarified: “Stunts, for example crossing the wall, all that is us, but after that there is precise piloting. There is a stuntman who does that, that’s not me. Everything that is car, it’s not me, we don’t have the technique.”
Despite his insurance, it was during a stunt without a vehicle that Omar Sy “seriously injured”he confided, specifying: “I almost lost a finger.” Faced with the circumspection of Yann Barthès, he added: “I’m not kidding, look”, while showing the ring finger of his left hand. “You see, this wound is really a real wound.
