I am | Mauri Stern breaks down when saying goodbye to “Yo Soy”: “From my Mexican heart, I love you” | Latin | NMRI EMCC | PEOPLE

Mauri Stern could not help breaking down when he dedicated a few words of thanks to the Peruvian public for having welcomed him with great affection and respect. As it is recalled, on Saturday, July 2, the singing and imitation program −issued by Latina− said goodbye to Peruvian television.

The emotional moment came after a video was broadcast with the special moments that the Mexican lived during his participation in “Yo Soy”.

After seeing the images, the former member of “Magneto” broke down and was comforted by his companions Maricarmen Marín and Katia Palma.

“They received me at such an important moment that the only thing I can feel is lucky (…) I believe in this country, I believe in its talent, the only thing I have is gratitude, thanks to the team for receiving me, always invite me. I love food, I love its natural places, take care of this beautiful country (…) This Mexican heart loves you, I love you”, Mauri said unable to contain the tears.

Karen Schwarz and Adolfo Aguilar, hosts of the space, also dedicated some tender words to the Mexican artist.

“Our judges stand up to applaud Mauri, you are not only a great guy, but a great friend, and we are grateful that ‘Yo Soy’ has you here and with us, in our hearts”, Adolf commented. “He came to shake this jury table, but he came with only one goal to return to each participant what they have become, artists, professionals looking for their dream”limited the wife of Ezio Oliva.
