“I had to dance with the ugliest”; Ingrid Coronado and the controversies that led her to retire

The blow was so hard that Ingrid Coronado decided to withdraw from television. After her divorce with Fernando del Solar, the criticism against the host and singer was constant and caused an emotional and health crisis.

“I felt extremely bad, I didn’t have the time I wanted to spend with my family, I was worried and I didn’t enjoy my work,” she told TVyNovelas.

Ingrid Coronado and Fernando del Solar had eight years of relationship but it was during the last two, in which they were already married, when the problems exceeded the driver’s resistance.

In an interview earlier this year, he said: “I realized that if I didn’t stop, I was going to get sick. It was a very difficult time in my life and I made the decision to retire for three months. I thought I was going to be enough”.

Ingrid and Fernando, after the divorce, continued a struggle for the separation of the assets they accumulated. “There are some legal problems with a property out there,” said Fernando del Solar when asked about the status of his relationship with his ex-wife.

For Ingrid, the three-month retreat was not enough.

“I had to dance with the ugliest,” he sums up when he talks about that stage of his life in which he was the target of criticism.

“I needed to heal many things. Not only physically, but also emotionally.”

Finally, towards the end of 2021, Ingrid felt strong enough to return to television to host a dance reality show on Azteca.

Although once again she experienced a complicated moment due to another controversy she had with her first husband, Charly López, Ingrid got ahead thanks to a strength that, now, she will have to put to the test with the death of Fernando del Solar.
