Indira Ampiot, elected Miss France 2023 for almost three weeks, will appear in Michel Drucker’s “Vivement dimanche” program this Sunday, January 8. For the recording, the beauty queen came accompanied by her mother, Béatrice Tejou, also used to beauty contests.
Miss France 2023 can count on the advice of her mother. Although she never won the scarf of Miss France, Béatrice Tejou tried the adventure. In 1998, also from Guadeloupe, she entered the local elections and won the title of Miss Basse-Terre.
She then became the first runner-up to Miss Guadeloupe. She therefore narrowly missed qualifying for the Miss France election. That year, it was Miss Lorraine, Sophie Thalmanwho won the title.
A miss who loves beauty contests
Great favorite of this edition, Indira Ampiot had every chance of winning the title of Miss France 2023. But the 18-year-old young woman does not intend to stop there. Last December, she confided to Paris Match dream of the Miss Universe election: “I have always been in awe of this show, so I aspire to participate in it one day.”
This year, France will be able to count on Floriane Bascou, Miss Martinique 2021 and first runner-up Diane Leyre (Miss France 2022), who was appointed by the committee. The 71th edition of the competition will be held on January 14, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
