the essentials in brief
- Did Prince Andrew have an “intimate relationship” with Epstein’s aide Ghislaine Maxwell.
- The Brit was in and out of the palace, according to security officials.
It is known that Prince Andrew (61) was a close friend of Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell (60). But a new ITV documentary reveals: The convicted sex offender has been in and out of Buckingham Palace!
Paul Page, an ex-royal security officer, recalled: “Maxwell was allowed in and out of the palace as he pleased. She visited Andrew up to four times in one day. We therefore assumed that they had an intimate relationship with each other.”
The two got along so well that even those around them believed they had been in a relationship before. “They were very friendly,” explains Euan Rellie, who knows Maxwell from his university days.
Does Prince Andrew have to go to court?
Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother Ian (66), on the other hand, denies the couple rumors about his sister and Prince Andrew. ‘They were good friends. Ghislaine treated everyone equally and didn’t put up with anything – I guess that impressed Andrew.”
Jeffrey Epstein’s († 66) accomplice was recently found guilty of sex trafficking by a New York court. She faces life imprisonment. Incomprehensible to brother Ian, he still believes his sister is innocent. “We believe her, we love her and we hope she gets the justice she definitely deserves.”
Andrew is also getting a kick out of it. Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre (38) accuses him of abuse. It is not yet clear whether the lawsuit will go to court. The Queen (95) has now withdrawn his military titles and royal patronage.
