John Travolta on the death of actress Olivia Newton-John: “You made our lives better”

FLORIDA, UNITED STATES.- The world of cinema lost a great star, this August 8 the death of the actress and singer was confirmed Olivia Newton Johnat 73 years of age, after battling breast cancer for more than 30 years.

Newton-John’s career spanned five decades, devoting much of her time to charity since she was diagnosed in 1992 with breast cancer.

The British-born, Australian-raised star has dedicated several albums and concerts to raising funds for research and early detection of the disease, including building a health center in his adopted Melbourne home that bears his name.
