Joko Winterscheidt (43) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (38) looked too deep into the glass on TV. The two moderators once again challenged the TV station on Tuesday evening in the program “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben”. Several games are played, and if the two win at the end of the show, they get 15 minutes of free airtime.
The sixth game was particularly insidious: they were deliberately not told the rules. “I personally submitted the game to ProSieben because I always have the same problem with you: you just don’t listen to my explanations of the rules,” explained moderator Steven Gätjen (49).
Joko and Klaas kept getting new shots
The task was that both had to drink two high-proof shots. However, no one revealed how exactly. “It’s going to be a drinking game. If we get it wrong, two new glasses will come, »Heufer-Umlauf assumed and was right. At first the two tried to drink the shots normally. That was wrong. “Oh, how stupid. You are not allowed to hold the glasses in your hands, »Gätjen made fun of, sitting in an armchair and allowing himself a drink.
This meant two new shots for Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf. They kept trying using straws and decanting the glasses, but they kept breaking the rules they didn’t know. But slowly the alcohol made itself felt. “Who will do the final then?” asked Joko Winterscheidt, slightly drunk after the fourth glass. Even on the fifth and final attempt, they didn’t come up with the right solution.
“I get a real headache from this stuff”
Correctly, the two should have put their glass to their mouths with a pair of tongs. This would have been found in an ice bucket. Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf toasted the botched game again. Winterscheidt joked: “What percentage does he have? 22? I drank six. Whenever I’ve reached 100 percent, I go home.” Then “Joko & Klaas” burst out laughing.
But they stopped laughing at the next task. Winterscheidt complained: “I get a real headache from the stuff. That was real booze.” Despite the pounding skull and the drunken state, the two managed to defeat ProSieben in the end. For Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf it is not the first time that they get drunk in front of the camera. They already appeared tipsy in their remake of the New Year’s classic “Dinner for One”. (bsn)
