Before Tik Tok, which democratized the mode of playback on the networks, the specialist was Keenan Cahill. The internet star died Thursday in a Chicago hospital when he was just 27 years old.

He racked up millions of views on his YouTube channel when he was just 15 years old. Keenan Cahill, who was successful at the very beginning of the 2010s, died on Thursday, a few days after an open heart operation which he himself had announced on Instagram. The young man adept at playback was suffering from Maroteaux-Lamy disease, hence his dwarfism in particular, was only 27 years old.

The Chicago native received frequent treatments and underwent several surgeries. The family reported “complications” during the last operation.

Keenan Cahill found success through simple videos filmed in his bedroom. His first video in which he films himself singing in playback on Katy Perry, now totals more than 58 million views. A performance that allowed him to collaborate with several artists for his videos. We note Jennifer Aniston, Flo Rida, Cody Simpson, Justin Bieber, 50 Cent or even Doc Gyneco.
