“Let’s Dance”: This performance causes horror – “I’ve rarely seen anything so bad”
Hardly any celebrity cares about “let’s dance‘ for as much discussion material as Bastian Bielendorfer. The comedian is re-elected week after week – even though his dancing talent leaves a lot to be desired.
For many viewers it is incomprehensible why Bastian Bielendorfer is still in the running. Now even a “let’s dance” pro on the dilemma.
“Let’s Dance” professional shoots against Bastian Bielendorfer
Bastian Bielendorfer is making serious progress in the RTL dance show. If he didn’t get more than eight points at the beginning of the season, the comedian is now rewarded with double-digit numbers and even scratches the 20-point mark.
Bastian Bielendorfer received 16 points from the “Let’s Dance” jury for his Paso Doble in Show 8. The otherwise rather passionate dance, which resembles a bullfight, is reinterpreted in a humorous way by Bastian and his partner Ekaterina Leonova. “Pure entertainment! Even my husband has been watching since Bastian Bielendorfer has been there. Just great fun,” enthuses a viewer on Instagram.
But apparently not everyone sees it that way. In particular, ex-“Let’s Dance” professional Oana Nechiti can’t laugh at all. “From a purely dancing point of view, it was absurd that this was still happening in the middle of the season. I’ve rarely seen anything so bad,” she rants in the podcast “Dance or not at all.”

Oana Nechiti explains: Bastian Bielendorfer should have approached “Let’s Dance” very differently
Her husband Erich Klann, who also appeared on the RTL show from 2011 to 2020, adds: “It wasn’t even entertainment, it was a sentence with X.”
Oana explains that as a spectator she likes the dancing couple, but the performance of Bastian and Ekaterina has nothing to do with professional dancing. Instead, the comedian should have made it clear from the start that he – like Oliver Pocher back then – relies on humor. In contrast to the other candidates, he would not have been rated seriously in the first place.
