Lisa Loringactress who gave life to “Merlina” (Wednesday)” in the first version of the popular television series “The Addams Family,” has died at the age of 64, The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday.
Loring died Saturday night at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, from complications of a stroke caused by high blood pressure, her daughter Vanessa Foumberg told the specialized magazine.

She became known for her role as Merlina Addams in the original version of the television series and in the 1977 film “Halloween with the New Addams Family” and had a role on the soap opera “As the World Turns,” according to the medium.
“She left in peace with her two daughters (Vanessa and Marianne) holding hands”his daughter said after the death.
As explained by Hollywood Reporter, LOring became popular for her portrayal of the quirky ‘Merlina’ on ABC’s black comedy “The Addams Family.”a role he assumed in 1964.
