Lisa Marie Presley was rushed to a hospital in California, United States on Thursday after a cardiac arrest, according to the portal specialized in entertainment TMZ.
The only daughter of Elvis Presley regained her pulse after a cardiopulmonary resuscitation carried out by paramedics, the newspaper reported, citing sources close to the woman from 54 years old.
His mother, Priscilla, confirmed that he was in hospital, saying he was “receiving the best of care.”
“Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers of everyone and ask for privacy during this time,” Priscilla Presley said in a statement.
Just a few days ago Presley attended the Golden Globes ceremony with his mother Priscilla, where they watched actor Austin Butler win best actor in a drama for his powerful performance in “Elvis.” Taking the award, Butler thanked the two women, saying, “I will love you forever.”
Lisa Marie Presley was born in 1968 and is the owner of her father’s Graceland mansion in Memphis, a popular tourist attraction. She was nine years old when Elvis died at Graceland in 1977.
Singer and songwriter, she is the mother of Three daughtersincluding actress and filmmaker Riley Keough, who gained notoriety for her acting chops on the anthology series “The Girlfriend Experience” in 2016. She was married to Michael Jackson and to actor Nicolas Cage.
