For Valentine’s Day, Sylvie Meis and Niclas Castello went to a romantic dinner on the beach. The two celebrated their love with candlelight and rose petals.
This is Love Island:
- In the RTL2 show, singles get to know and maybe even love each other through mating ceremonies and spectacular games. The trick, if you can’t form a couple in the end and stay single on “Love Island”, you have to leave the villa
- RTL2 will announce the exact broadcast time of each episode. Viewers can follow the format on TV or online in the live stream
- Sylvie Meis has moderated “Love Island” since season six
In an interview with “Bild”, the moderator now reveals: “He told me I should flirt less”. Sounds like there’s a whiff of jealousy in the air.
“Love Island” star Sylvie Meis defends moderation in the RTL2 show
However, Sylvie Meis does not see her husband dictating how she moderates her show. She makes it clear: “Even if Niclas says so, I’ll do it anyway. When moving in, if there aren’t any couples yet, I have to advertise the men a bit. And if someone is hot, I’ll say so too. Niclas has to live with that.”

Sylvie Meis doesn’t let her Niclas limit her either. She enjoys her job and gives it her all – including a bit of flirting. She doesn’t make any exceptions, not even for her husband. (sj)
