To the public clashes between Magaly Medina and Janet Barboza adds a new protagonist: Alfredo Zambrano. The notary initiated legal action against the host of “América Hoy” after her controversial comments in which she accused him of having been unfaithful.

This new rivalry between the husband of “Urraca” and “Rulitos” originated after the latter, in an interview, called him “penguin” in an interview and hinted that he had been unfaithful to the host of “Magaly TV: La Firme” with Giuliana Rengifo.

Barboza made strong statements when he assured that Magaly Medina She should not criticize other women who forgive infidelities because she would have done the same with her current husband.

“(Magaly) does not have the morals to tell other women not to do the same thing you do. If you forgave your penguin and then washed his face and ‘powdered’ him to save your marriage, why criticize others?”, Barboza pointed out in an interview with the newspaper El Popular.

Janet Barboza’s statements did not sit well with Magaly Medina or her husband. The ATV figure used several minutes of her program not only to deny infidelity, but also to demand that her partner be treated with respect.

“My husband has a name, he is a lawyer, he is an honest, successful, hard-working man. He does not deserve to be called that way by any fourth-rate bataclana ”she declared indignantly.

“The day they are unfaithful to me… I have dignity, I know what I’m worth… If one day a man doesn’t value me, the doors are open for everyone to go their own way”he added.

Alfredo Zambrano initiates legal actions:

Magaly Medina’s husband did not sit idly by either and decided to send a notarized letter to “Rulitos” so that he can rectify himself within 24 hours, considering that his comments harm his honor and good reputation.

The document indicates that the host of América TV attributed defamatory behavior to him by slipping that he was unfaithful to the ‘Urraca’, in addition to referring to his person in an aggravating way in a public way by calling him ‘penguin’.

“Please serve this to request that within 24 hours, counted from receiving this, I rectify the aggravating statements made to the detriment of my person, rectification that must be made through the media and proportionally to the damage caused”, the document reads.

What was Janet Barboza’s defense?

Far from taking the case seriously, the presenter joked at all times during the “América Hoy” program about the notarial letter that came into her possession.

“I want to tell all the penguins in Peru to forgive me because they are beautiful penguins and they have nothing to do with you. I always referred to the Penguin from Batman (the movie)”Barboza added as a joke.
