The Colombian singer, Maluma, is more than proud that the famous Madame Tussauds museum in Orlando has made a wax replica of his figure. This was announced through his social networks by the interpreter of ‘Felices los 4’.
“Baby, today we are 2 x 1 😂 First time in the history of the @madametussaudsusa museum that they bring a figure to South America, specifically to COLOMBIA 🇨🇴 Pa’ la cultura Parcerosssss”, wrote the 28-year-old singer.
And it is that this last Monday, the Madame Tussauds museum in Orlando unveiled its wax replica, the stage where the event was held was nothing more than in Medellín, homeland of the renowned singer, considered one of the most important figures of the urban genre.
So far, he has done duets with nothing more and nothing less than Madonna, Ricky Martín, Thalía, Mark Anthony and Jennifer López, with whom he has also recorded a romantic movie.
“I have been a fan of Madame Tussauds all my life. I’ve been to museums and taken photos with most of the figures. Now, being next to the greatest represents something very nice for my career. I never thought this would happen to me; It is something surreal that they make me a wax figure, that they make another Juan Luis, another Maluma”, Maluma pointed out during the event.
This wax replica created by 20 artists for about six months will be on display for four days at the Museum of Modern Art in Medellín. “This (the figure) for me is a huge achievement. It is to celebrate my 10 years of career now that the most important concert of my life is coming”, added the Colombian singer.
