Marcia Cross, radiant at the Marc Cain show during Berlin Fashion Week

This Wednesday, the star of “Desperate Housewives”, Marcia Cross, was among the many guests of the Marc Cain fashion show during Berlin Fashion Week.

This Wednesday, Marc Cain presented “Express Yourself”, his new 2022-2023 collection, in Berlin. For the occasion, the house plunged its guests into a pink and red universe. And for the event, several personalities were present. Among them, the influencer Leonie Hanne, the presenter Frauke Ludowig and her daughter Nele, or the actress Emilia Schüle. But it was ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Marcia Cross who got all the attention. On the pink carpet, the 59-year-old actress caused a stir in her light blue ensemble, silver boots and off-white bag. Smiling, she first posed alone in front of the photographers before being joined by the founder and owner of the brand, Helmut Schloterre. On Instagram, the wife of Tom Mahoney returned to this “fantastic” evening. “I am extremely grateful for your generous donations in support of Ukraine. The end of the parade of this fantastic show was very touching. Thank you for having received me, Marc Cain”, she wrote under her publication.

During its fashion show, the German label made a point of showing its support for Ukraine, invaded for several weeks by Russia. Indeed, for the finale of her show, all the models lined up on the podium. With the opening note of the title track “Russians” composed by vocalist Sting, all raised their hands and showed a peace sign painted on their palms, a silent plea for peace. During his speech, Helmut Schlotterer said he was “stunned” by this invasion. “We are witnessing a completely senseless war,” he said. The brand manager also made an appeal for donations revealing that ‘no matter how many’ he will double the amount. The Marc Cain house has already donated 200,000 euros to the organization “Save The Chlidren” which deals with helping Ukrainian refugee children and their families. Moreover, on the guest tables, QR codes with the direct donation link to the “Caritas” organization were placed.
