Marie-Sophie Lacarrau will (finally) make her return to the air, after nearly five months of absence from the television news. To announce her return, she recorded a video shared on TF1’s social networks. “I’m really, really looking forward to it”she said.
She is going better. Almost five months ago, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau disappeared from TV screens. She suffered from ophthalmic problems: a severe infection of the right eye which kept her away from the television news set of TF1 for almost five months. But she is now cured. “I’m doing so much better!“she rejoiced in an interview with the ParisianThursday, May 12, adding: “Finally, I look ahead and no longer behind.”
And Marie-Sophie Lacarrau will finally be able to resume the antenna. “During my four and a half months of absence, I waited to resume a normal life and my work. I had no choice : I had to take care of myself. When you are hit by such an ordeal, it cuts your legs and you either dive or bounce higher. Me, I bounce higher. Today, I feel stronger and full of energy.” From Monday, May 16, she will be back in the 1 p.m. of TF1.

“I just want to find the viewers, to find the link that I had started to create with them. And who was stopped dead”added Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, still at the Parisian. And, even before returning to the air on Monday, she addressed viewers in a video shared on TF1’s social networks.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve heard from you, and I have positive ones. Finally. Finally, I know that I will find you”she says in the video, adding: “It will be Monday, May 16, we will meet at 1 p.m. for the newspaper of course, on TF1. And I’m really, really looking forward.” Viewers, too, are eager to see her again. “Ah, great!!”, “We are waiting for you”, “Welcome back”, “Great to have you back”, “Super happy to have you back”, “Great! So much the better!”, “Very happy to have you back”, “We missed you !“, “See you Monday”, we could read in particular in the comments. A shared happiness!
