Directed by Ben Affleck, the feature film plans to tell the story of the biggest contract made in partnership with an athlete, returning to the association between Nike and Michael Jordan. The two friends are co-writing the screenplay and are entitled to their own role in the film, and not least: Matt Damon will play the role of Sonny Vaccaro, executive of Nike, while Ben Affleck will be Phil Knight, co-founder of the clothing brand . As for the rest of the cast, the American magazine variety reports several big names in cinema such as Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman or Marlon Wayans. Production will be split between Amazon Studios, Mandalay Pictures and Skydance Sports.

At this point, no official title or date has been set. Among the meager information revealed, we already know that the film will trace the historic signing of Nike and the emblematic figure of the Chicago Bulls at Nike, Michael Jordan. An incredible feat and push for Nike, partly explaining the company’s current position and status as a market leader.
